Lawn Bowls is a traditional sport originated in the twelfth century, and practiced in several countries, it has gained tremendous popularity in England, especially in the south, which has thousands of fans. As this sport does not need a good physical preparation, it is recommended for all ages. The Lawn Bowls is usually played outdoors on grass or an artificial grass surface called the bowling green. The goal of the game is that asymmetric rolling balls, called bowls are rolled as close as possible to another smaller ball, usually white, called "jack" or "kitty". |
